1955 Shasta

This one tried to fall apart on the way to the shop.  All four corners had serious wood rot until nothing was left to hold it together except the cabinets. Yes, that is daylight in the front corner, and the outside skin & tail light in the back corner.  No problem, we can fix this!

Obviously we had to go back into the trailer to find good wood.

Now it's looking better.  Structure has been repaired, and the birch wood has been replaced.

Going home.  Yes, that is a 53 Ford ragtop to pull it with.  This trailer is a good example of a budget rebuild.  Even with the typical dents & scrapes it looks pretty good with new paint on the original skin, and when the owner finishes his interior it will be a great little Shasta.

Now that the interior is finished, it's almost hard to believe this was once the rotted junker we started with!
