Retro Restoration
1960 Holiday House!
Our most aggressive project to date, custom built to the customer's design. We restored the exterior back to the original glory but inside was transformed to a unique retro space ship feel with a taste of Googie architecture. The result is a stunning trailer!
We started with a complete unit with a decent exterior. The interior
however was fairly rough, and quite honestly the Holiday house interior was not
nearly as cool as the exterior, almost ugly!
The rebuild was extensive. Coach was torn down to the floor, all new
walls, cabinets, new siding. New Lexan windows were built to repair the
cool wrap around front window assembly. Galley was moved to the front of
the trailer, new restroom was built in the rear.
Other than the modern AC unit on the roof, the exterior looks like it did the
day she rolled off of the assembly line, but the interior...
The inside features high tech walls painted in a super high gloss sea foam
green, the floor is Marmoleum. It features a big screen TV with surround
sound. The stainless control center operates the lighting systems,
dimmable for different moods.
